PRIZES

The below cash awards will be given to the top three contestants judged to have the highest score per the selection criteria below. Drift @ 7 will have unrestricted use of prize winning videos for promotional use. All prizes to be made payable through PayPal.

• First Place - $350
• Second Place - $100
• Third Place - $50

SELECTION

Contestant videos that adhere to the RULES will be judged by the following criteria, in order, on the ending day of the contest:

1. Five contestant videos having the highest amount of YouTube views will gain contest points. The video with the highest number of views will gain 5 points, the second highest number of views will gain 4, and so on.
2. Contestant videos with points from criteria 1. above will gain additional points based on the video’s Drift @ 7 website rating (i.e. # of stars times number of viewers giving a rating). The video with the highest rating will gain 5 points, the second highest will gain 4, and so on.
3. The five contestant videos with points from criteria 1. and 2. above will be rank ordered by Drift @ 7 (i.e. Gerry, Wayne & Jaimen) in terms of quality and fit with the Drift @ 7 mission (see ‘about’ section of website). The highest rank ordered video will gain 5 points, the second highest will gain 4, and so on.
4. All points from criteria 1. and 3. will be totaled to determine the first, second and third place winners. In the event of a numerical tie, the contestant with the highest Drift @ 7 rating (i.e. criteria 2.) will gain a one point advantage.

SCHEDULE

• Contest start date: January 1, 2010
• Contest end date: 12midnite Friday, December 17, 2010
• Contest award notification on the www.driftat7.com website: 12 noon, Monday December 20, 2010

RULES

All videos must:

• Have a five (5) second beginning showing ‘www.driftat7.com’ in the video
• Have ‘Brownberry In The Sun’ in the title
• Have a five (5) second ending showing ‘www.driftat7.com’
• Use open source (i.e. free of copyright restrictions) and/or original content
• Not use spam, viruses nor any other illicit means to gain views or ratings
• Be registered through the Drift @7 website which requires a valid email address along with a first name
• All three contest winners will be notified on December 20, 2010 and have seven (7) days to respond with contact information including a valid PayPal account. Should any one of the winners not respond within seven (7) days, the allocated prize will be offered to the contestant next in line in terms of total points.

HOW

• Download the Drift @ 7 audio file from the www.driftat7.com webiste (you
  can also download instrument parts to help the creative process)
• Download any Drift @ 7 content that may help
• Add your pictures, video or clips to make a video
• Upload your video to www.youtube.com
• Register your video on the www.driftat7.com website (follow online
  directions)
• Gain views and ratings through your friends and family
• Check on the Drift @ 7 website to see if you’ve won!
