ABOUT

Drift @ 7 is a loosely organized musical collaborative of art, music and media cats. Some students, some working professionals.

What's Drift @ 7 sound like? Think Gordon Lightfoot, Johnny Cash, Warren Zevon, Neil Young, Bare Naked Ladies, CSNY and Bruce Cockburn. Drift @ 7 incorporates latin, blues, jazz and folk traditions into smokey, conga and tequila induced lyrics. Just listen to the experts who know a good sound (REVIEW).

Drift @ 7 might be labeled 'alternative acoustic'. Regardless, come and see. And listen. Dancing, friendship and easy livin' are not options.

Schneggs

Music dude, Gerry Schneggs, lead vocalist, song writer & guitarist. Formerly of Impulse and Schneggs Live, Gerry wrote songs for the band for 7 years - the finest captured on the Greatest Hits cd. Aspiration: play Austin City Limits!

Jaimen

Web cat, Jaimen Gallo, programs during the day, cranks an ElectroLux guitar at night. Jaimen is eye candy for Drift@7 and will be featured in the upcoming Strange Matters cd.

Wayne

Media wonk, Wayne Anderson, having worked with such notable bands as Wizdom in Pittsburgh, knows all the right ways to manage a band's image and gain access to the most obscure radio stations in North America.

Sparks

Impressionist virtuoso, David Sparks, master of a thousand voices, featured in the Drift @ 7 Review, can easily pull the late night wool over Monica's eyes with Bill's saucy cocktail lounge talk.

Thomas

Artinista, Diana Thomas, designer of the 'drift fish', her art inspires, dazzles, bewilders and just might speak to you.

Findlay

Designario, Aaron Findlay, CD designer and artist, never fearful of working out of sight in undisclosed places.

Bassist

Bass dudes: various. This band needs one steady bass player!

Drummer

Beat masters: various. This band needs one steady drummer! (and a conguero too)

** SPECIAL THANKS go to the management of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College for recording permission and use of the John M. Lilley Library Digital Commons sound rooms for vocal recording and for the Samuel P. "Pat" Black III REDC Conference Center for guitar and harmonica recording!
